$92 million(allegedly) to take a dive was too good of a payday to pass up for Joshua. He knows that most people know what’s up and won’t actually consider his predictable upcoming loss to Jake Paul as legitimate.
I’m still honestly in shock over the number of public pundits in the boxing, MMA and sports arenas who boisterously and enthusiastically deem Jake Paul’s fights as legitimate. And while his first few fights against non-professional fighters were certainly legit, once he started going up against pro MMA fighters and pro boxers, that’s when the shady activities began.
WATCH: Jake Paul is a Jew and Wins Fake Rigged Fights
Anyone who’s watched real boxing and knows what a legit fight looks like can watch any Jake Paul fight and be able to quickly deduce just how illegitimate and choreographed the exchanges are in his fights, ESPECIALLY the scripted knockout punches. They look soooooo staged that it’s embarrassing. The Tyron Woodley KO punch was the most egregiously choreographed moment of all his bouts. It was bad. Really bad.
It might have looked like a clean KO punch at first, but replays reveal the punch bounced off Woodleys shoulder before connecting with his face. Making a knockout from that blow highly improbable in my opinion. You can also see him signal to Woodley to come closer for the KO punch.
Jake was even spotted with a padded hand wrap after the fight for good measure, just to make sure he made that scripted punch count.

Yet Paul and his supporters will point to and brag about that knockout punch as one of the defining moments in his fighting career.
Check out all his clownish “knockouts” in the below video:
Everything about his fights just look awkward and faker than fake for anyone who’s regularly watched professional boxing on HBO and Showtime over the years like myself and millions of others have who would all thoroughly agree with my assessment here. So when I see people like Dana White go on talk shows and do interviews where he discusses Jake and Logan Paul fights as if they were legitimate professional fighters engaging in legitimate bouts, it infuriates me and makes me sick. I know that Joe Rogan openly questioned the Tyson and Woodley fights, and once upon a time did question the legitimacy of all his bouts, but since those early days he’s changed his tune and now largely considers his fights to be legit when speaking on them and even made some jaw dropping comments about how Paul doesn’t get the credit he deserves. I think that everyone knows Jake will just automatically sue them if they speak their mind about it so they are forced to just go along with it. Quite sad.
But you honestly can’t even blame the Paul brothers for continuing to put on these rigged fights when you consider the insane amount of money they make from each show. They have a fiduciary responsibility to themselves and to anyone who’s invested in them, to keep putting on these fights so long as they continue to be as disgustingly profitable as they are. With each fight being bigger than the last and the resulting revenue stream growing exponentially as the Paul brothers’ “fight circus mega machine” keeps humming along. Real or not. You gotta strike while the iron’s hot. Nothing ever lasts. Jake always said he’d be the first streamer billionaire, so we will see.
In the Mile Tyson vs. Jake Paul “fight” you could see Mike very evidently and quite awkwardly actually, repeatedly pulling his punches.

And apparently that still wasn’t enough to adequately protect Jake from being accidentally KO’d by Mike, as at one point Jake was spotted giving Mike a wide-eyed stare and sticking out his tongue, as if to tell him he needed to “chill” after one of Mike’s lefts came a bit too close to Jake’s chin for comfort.
It was also reported that Jake whispered to Mike during a clinch that he needed to calm down and let Jake dictate the action.
In fact Jake’s brother Logan outright told Floyd Mayweather to “CHILL” during their bout, for similar reasons, after the significantly smaller Mayweather had clocked Logan across the jaw several times in the round, posing a risk of instant KO which clearly wasn’t a part of the plan and in the contract. It’s even alleged that Floyd actually did accidentally knock him out at one point and had to hold his body up to prevent him from collapsing onto the mat for a loss by KO. Floyd even later admitted the fight was fake.
The one time Jake Paul agreed to a real fight was against Tommy Fury Jake had enough fights and had become cocky enough by that point to believe he could beat Fury on actual merits for once. Kudos to him for at least attempting to fight legitimately for once and taking that chance. But the Fury fight exposed him for not being the caliber of pro fighter he thought he was and wanted the world to think he was. The guy is able to do a fairly impressive job emulating the way pro fighters move and fight and you could say he has semi-mastered the art of appearing to be a pro boxer. But he’s not actually a professional caliber fighter. He’s a “just ok” amateur fighter, with his actual skills you can see in the below clip of one of his early, legitimate fights against a fighter of comparable skill. His brother Logan is actually a significantly more talented boxer and athlete in general. But that’s a whole other story on its own. Jake is very insecure about that paradigm. He knows Logan is a much more legit boxer than he’ll ever be.
The fact that Las Vegas odds makers and the Nevada Boxing Commission sanctions his bouts as legitimate and allows for many hundreds of millions of dollars to be bet on his fixed fights is insane as far as I’m concerned. It’s tantamount to being allowed to bet on John Cena or The Rock winning WrestleMania. Jake Paul fights are nothing more than WWE style events. He’s just an entertainer and a promoter and a very very good one at that. One of the best we’ve ever seen, but nothing more. But I mean hey, the NFL is rigged to the same extent, so I guess if you’re going to allow betting on NFL games it would only be fair to allow for betting on a rigged Jake Paul fight.
Any sucker who bets on Anthony Joshua thinking that it’s easy money under the presumption that the fight is actually real, deserves to lose their money. Of course Joshua wins in a real fight. Are you kidding me? He recently put Frances Ngannou on his ass less than a minute into round 1, then dropped him twice more in round 2, knocking him out cold with the second one to win the fight. This just happened mind you. See for yourself:
He doesn’t just handily beat Paul and win the fight, oh no, it would be a massacre. A disturbing and dangerous bloodbath. A literal public execution. If Joshua actually went for reeeealz 100% at Jake Paul, he would brutally knock him out in under 15-30 seconds and would very likely badly hospitalize Paul depending on how quickly the ref decides to stop it. If we’re being real, even old ass Mike Tyson at 100% effort would do the same to Jake. And Jake Paul isn’t stupid, he knows this. It’s not even remotely debatable that this would in fact be the outcome of a legitimate boxing match between Jake and either old Tyson or prime Joshua. Anthony Joshua is a gigantic monster and an absolute beast. A bona fide heavyweight superstar and a force to be reckoned with in the sport. That man is arguably still in his prime and has fought the best of the best in the heavyweight division. Jake Paul is a fucking streamer and ex-Disney actor. But yet countless idiots actually believe these are real fights and will bet and throw away their money accordingly. It’s sad.
But I’ve been ashamed of my human species ever since Covaids, so this doesn’t change much as far as my regards for the crux of the human population and the prevalence of NPCs everywhere you look and everywhere you go. “Every other city we go, every other video… no matter where I go, I see the same hoe”.
